Drug delivery strategies: nanodrug formulation and characterization

Formulation technology is a central aspect of modern drug development, particularly in the area of nanodrugs. These formulations ensure that active substances are released in a targeted and efficient manner within the side of action. The workshop on drug delivery strategies provides a comprehensive overview of the regulatory and technological challenges and supports the development of a sustainable and innovation-driven pharmaceutical industry.

This training targets professionals and executives from research and development in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, as well as formulation experts and consulting companies. Participation will not only focus on the understanding of formulation technology but also enhance the ability to develop innovative solutions for challenges in drug development.

The two-day workshop will cover the fundamentals of formulation technology, including the materials, active ingredients, and processes involved from the screening phase to production, as well as the associated regulatory requirements. The practical module includes methods for nanoformulation screening and scale-up, as well as physicochemical characterization and bioanalytical techniques.

The workshop focusses on microtechnological modules for the development and production, as well as the purification and characterization of nanodrugs and current technological trends.

Number of participants: minimum 5, maximum 20

The registration deadline is expected to be April 13, 2026.
