Webinar: Microfluidics „decoded“ – why, what, how?

Speaker: Dr. Sabine Alebrand

Although microfluidics is now widely discussed as a versatile enabling technology, especially in analytics and diagnostics, many questions remain unanswered for potential users. Best known are advantages like reduced sample and reagent consumption, shortened analysis times and compact system design. In order to end up with a commercially applicable solution it is, however, absolutely necessary to take into account existing chances and limitations, dos and don’ts, hurdles and pitfalls. In our webinar, we will highlight the complex interplay of various influencing parameters that have to be considered during microfluidic system development. You will see an example of how an interdisciplinary collaboration has resulted in a microfluidic based system that has great potential to make a difference in applied cancer research and subsequent cancer diagnosis and treatment. Benefit from Fraunhofer IMM’s more than 20 years of experience in applied research and application-oriented microfluidic development.

The webinar will be held in English language.
